Sikkim's Santosh Trophy campaign received a huge blow with three of the players tested positive for swine flu. According to the local manager Somnath Chatterjee, Bikas Jairu, Sanjay Chhetri and Sagar Rai were tested positive for the disease and they were admitted at the Hospital with high fever.
Chatterjee said, along with Robin they were also admitted for complaining of high fever and chest congestion. Gurung however was released but doctors have advised for at least 5 days treatment for the three players as they were tested positive for swine flu. More than 40 people have been affected of the deadly Influenza virus in the city. Playing in Sikkim has three points from two matches with one win and one loss and their qualifying to quarterfinals depends on the result of the match between Chhattisgarh and Haryana on Sunday.
