Mohammad Yousuf is expected to join Pakistan's team in England tour but is doubtful to play in the second Test starting on Friday. A PCB official said Yousuf can't play cricket in the United Kingdom and they have applied for a work permit visa and hopefully he will be issued the fresh visa on Tuesday. He added, if he gets the visa they will send him to London on Wednesday. But he will be given a chance to practice and play a tour match before the third Test begins on August 19.
Yousuf, who has played 88 Tests and 283 ODIs, was called back to join the team after Pakistan lost the first Test against England. Pakistan was bowled out for 80 runs in their second innings in the match. Pakistan tour manager Yawar said that Captain Salman Butt and Waqar Younis were not taken into consideration regarding Yousuf's call back. He said Chairman of PCB spoke to the selection committee and they all agreed on Yousuf and Raza's inclusion and Danish's omission from the team.
