Bid for Test

Team selectors fixed on to Doug Bollinger and Ryan Harris as they assessed Aussie's bowling attack for Friday's second Ashes Test against England. Australia always looks to change their attack after their bowlers exhausted away for a total of 152 overs in the field in England, which set up the draw. While Bollinger and Harris were making their bids, under the bowlers Mitchell Johnson and Ben Hilfenhaus were resting up after their bowling exertions in Brisbane. Vice-captain Clarke said Bollinger and Harris had done their Test chances best in the nets ahead of the Adelaide Test.

Clarke said they have both had success in international cricket, whether that is one-day or Tests. They are both looking forward to an opportunity, and the selectors have got a tough job. Left-arm Bollinger has taken 31 wickets at 26 in 8 Tests, while Harris got 9 wickets at 23 in two Tests. He said they are confident and can get the 11 players and take 20 wickets perfectly.
