England's challenge against Pak

Stuart Broad said that England would see the upcoming Test series against Pakistan as a big challenge. Broad said he is making a late start to his Test, because he was left out of the Bangladesh series when the management wanted him to undertake a strength programme. He said he can feel stronger and really fit after what turned out to be a 8-week programme and he think he have added a bit of speed and bounce to his bowling as a result.

He said Pakistan will be tougher to be pushed down with in the four Tests over the next month. But the harder the challenge they face now, the better it is as far as looking ahead to an Ashes winter matches starts. He added they know they will be in a demanding series, but it is only natural that they have just played Australia in an OD series and then saw them play with Pakistan.

German coach knows to beat England

Koepke is now the national keeper coach and a possible trump card if the fate continues at the Free State stadium. Koepke said everyone would prefer to avoid penalties but if it comes to that they will be prepared. He said, but we cannot simulate penalty taking. In training all players will hit and score every penalty. Koepke's presence at Saturday's conference was apt for a fixture with a fair share of penalty worries.

Koepke, who won 59 caps for his country said the Germans have done a spot of brushing up too. They do train penalties now and again before international matches. When asked for what those potentially World Cup saving information is, he said the former Nuremberg and Olympique Marseille player was not about to give anything away. He said he will talk to him and they will see what comes out of that. But they need to keep some surprises for the match.
