Preity denies Warrants

Chandigarh court issued warrants against Preity Zinta and industrialist Ness Wadia, who were the owners of IPL franchise Punjab Kings XI. They are accused for not filing annual returns.
Both, along with another industrialist Mohit, have been asked to appear in the court on October. Chief Judicial Magistrate Sidhu issued the warrants after hearing a complaint, but did not include the fourth owner Karan Paul. Preity Zinta said that no summons had been served to her by the Chandigarh court.

Meanwhile, industrialist Karan Paul's side appeared before the court and informed that he would appear on the next date of hearing. The court later adjourned the case till October. The prosecution submitted that the co-owners of the company had tried to collapse the financial position of KPH Dreams, from the public by not filing the balance sheets and annual returns. Gaurav Hooda complained that the Mohali franchise had not filed any annual return and balance sheet since it came into existence.
